The Heisenberg Legacy (Sam Reilly #11) By Christopher Cartwright
I enjoyed this book as much as the others by Christopher Cartwright. Fast paced, set in Washington, DC. Historically based, as are all his books and featuring SAM in all his glory. Tom has a lesser role in this book. Lies, hidden truths and lying politicians... what a mix! 226 End of The Beginning
THE Heisenberg Legacy by Christop

Sam is caught up in tangled web regarding a missing nuclear weapon from World War Two has been discovered but when they get to the wreck to recover it they find someone beat them to it. As Sam faces his latest foe it turns out that someone wants to play games with Sam and it depends if they can find out the truth before millions of people are killed by a bomb The Heisenberg Legacy (Sam Reilly #11) Game over
Another action packed thriller! I would hace thought that after his adventures saving the world in previous books, there wouldnât be anything else for Sam Reilly to do. Guess I was wrong. Engaging, and with a totally different outlook, this was a great book. Highly enjoyable! English Another Sam Reilly adventure, this time in Washington DC, as he hunts down a WWII German nuclear bomb. I did like this book, but I guess I was disappointed as I could see so much potential in the story, but it just kind of petered out.
Still a good read if you are a Sam Reilly Fan. And this is not part of a story arc and can be read independently. 226
On January the 22nd, 1945, a secret weapon of unimaginable power was brought from the quiet town of Haigerloch in Germanyâs southwest, and loaded onto a plane waiting at Stuttgart.
Less than a dozen people knew of the weaponâs existence, and even less knew where it was being taken.
The aircraft, its crew, and its remarkable cargo were never seen again.
Until now.
When the wreckage of the aircraft is located in present day Washington D.C. with no sign of its deadly cargo on board, Sam Reilly is called in to investigate.
But the situation soon erupts into something much more dangerous than a simple recovery mission⦠The Heisenberg Legacy (Sam Reilly #11)
The Heisenberg Legacy, my eleventh read from author Christopher Cartwright & the eleventh book in the highly entertaining Sam Reilly series. Well-written thriller with captivating & well-developed main characters. Reminds me of Dan Brownâs writing. Iâll be reading more by this author as I already own more books in the series! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018). Mystery, Thriller The Heisenberg Legacy mixes history, terrorism, an old nuke and more in an excellent adrenaline rush! This was an Audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. Love this series! Always full of adventure and action, a hint for treasure or in this case, something a bit more deadly.
Narration spot on as usual by David Gilmore! Kindle Edition This was a great thriller/mystery! A weapon that could cause unparalleled damage disappeared years ago -along with the crew. Only a handful of people knew about this weapon, and now, years later, it existence re-emerges, along with panic and suspicion. Sam Reilly is called to investigate and discovers this is much more than he had ever hoped to bargain for. This was non-stop, fast-paced action that kept me entertained from beginning until the end. I REALLY liked this book in the series and it is well-written and I will be reading others by this author! 226 Another winner for Reilly and the author, Cartwright!
However, I do take issue with the final conclusions by the author, that basically the internet and international commerce make the threat of nuclear warfare and MAD (mutually assured destruction), and obsolete and unnecessary one. While madmen and zealots walk the earth in positions of power, I feel there can be no true peace or safety, sadly enough. And only the cooler heads with the ability to immediately prevent and destroy plots by true evil by holding keys to bigger and 'bladder toys' have the hope of bringing about the true end to war and MAD....JMHO. Still..a great story and very interesting history lesson.....
Christopher Cartwright This has been my all time favourite Sam Reilly to date. Set in Washington DC, the heart of power in the US and some would say the world. Add in a spot of Nazi history, the possibility of Washington being the site of a previous nuclear bomb site and mix this in wit some modern day terrorism plots makes this one of the most exciting Sam Reilly books.
I was on the edge of my seat whilst listing to the audible version of this book.
Totally immersed in this storyline
