LionBrierley,

A wonderful true story. I cried quite a few times haha! Very moving and beautiful. I wanted to read the book before watching the movie, I am glad I did.

Saroo 5yrs who lived in India lost contact with his older brother and became lost not knowing how to get homeSaroo had come from a poor village in one room with his mother and three siblings until the day he became lostSaroo was forced to live on the streets of Calcutta until found by an agency that helped lost childrenSaroo was adopted by a couple from Tasmania, Australia, he loved his new parents, after 25yrs he decided to look for his birth familyI swear I have seen this as a film with the same title Lion By BRIERLEY SAROO What an inspirational story. Fantastic tenacity against all odds. Remarkable what the human spirit is capable of, and the will to survive. I nonetheless felt heartbroken about the figure of 14million kids dying of malnutrition or simply disappearing in one city alone, English Très bien reçu, en avance en plus ! Une grande poésie dhumanité , retranscrite dans un Hi there,I loved reading this book. After I finished, for days I didn't want to read it any other book. I am a ferocious reader. I have to have a book in hand to read, but a good one, but this one exceeds all my limits of a good book.its superb, excellent, so so empowering.. I will read that again. Another thing is that after reading about the conditions in which Saroo lived while with his family was an eye opener to me. I am from India, from upper middle class, I have lot of compassion for the poor. But when I read about Saroo in calcutta and how a 5 yrs old Saroo managed those few weeks on the banks of river or railway stations or how he scavenged food on the pavements and bins.. I cried reading it wondering this is what the children go through living on footpath. And then in the boys hostels, the kind of abuses the children go through.. its overr 2 months since I read this book, I have not gptton over this book on the contrary I have developed so much of a compassion so so so much of compassion towards poor all the that I am so motivated to do something towards them in India. Hats off to you Saroo Sheru, the Lion, God helped you to be where you are, but there are so many who need our help. Thanks for this book,I loved itNarinder 978-0122167850

By BRIERLEY SAROO livré rapidement, livre bon état, rien à redire This book is about the life of Saroo Brierley narrated by himself. The story begins with when and how, when he was 5 years old, his entire life changed in one night. He lived with his mother, his two brothers and his sister in India, in extremely poor conditions.
